Looking Back, 2006

Past few months, I have spent half my time on Gartner and Forrester, so much that the Forrester wave's haunt me in the nights and the Gartner's Hype Cycle keep me occupied the time I am in my senses. I really wanted to put a post on 2006 as it was the most dramatic year of my life both personally and professionally and couldn't think of a better way to express it as the above curve almost depicts the way the year went. There were some bad times, there were some good, and I really struggled.
In the end I just feel a bit more matured and confident. I met so many new people, I lost contact with so many old people who were very dear to me. I was the cause of pain for many so obviously the later part of the year was painful for me... I realised this fact.
Happy New Year!
Update: I was in jaipur for new year, had plans for shimla but couldn't resist hanging out with undergrad friends almost after 3 years. So me, Kundan, Vineet and Anil had a great time in Jaipur, we also went to Ajmer as kundan had this urge to visit Ajmer Sharif. Same old people, same memories to share, same passion of pulling each other legs; time never changes when you are with old folks.

Nice post...its was really good to know to that I was not the only one who found this year overly dramatic showing too many extremes. But lemme compliment you ur graph still shows a lot of curves and is really interesting, mine's if plotted would look like a plateau, first skyrocketing, then stagnation n finally dipping to new lows. Chalo u have great time in Simla gorging on icecreams. Happy New Year.
