Ways of Peaceful Warrior

I started writing about business analysis, but thought about something better which I found a month ago and will like to share, I must have watched the movie,Peaceful Warrior, many times and the following clip at least a hundred times.

The following dialogues carry the essence of the movie and a thought always to carry along:

Socrates: Where are you?
Dan Millman: Here.
Socrates: What time is it?
Dan Millman: Now.
Socrates: What are you?
Dan Millman: This moment

Dan Milman isa former world champion athlete, university coach, martial arts instructor, and college professor. This movie is adaption of The Ways of Peaceful Warrior, one of the many books that he has written.

Moments that took my breath away...

Some moments are like lifetime, as some one said: the moments that matter are the one that take our breath away. These moments are so usual but make lasting impression.
The first day in school. Dad preparing us for school and mom poacking our lunch. Waiting for bus. Coming home after playing cricket whole day with dirty feet and hungry stomach. Riding bicycle on a rainy day, we always had raincoats but never used. Standing outside the class on the "inspection" day because my notebook is not upto date and "checked". The fear of getting caught when not properly dressed for school. Dirty shoes. Trying to concentrate when friends are playing and they are shouting my name. The anxiety. Reading comics. Exchanging them. Putting up comic stall and renting them. Super Commando Dhruv and Nagraj. Billu and Pinki. Chacha Chaudhry and Prait Uncle. The feeling before exams started. The feeling on the day we wrote our last paper. Those discussions after each exam. Wrong answer..awww. Right answer...yesss. Summer vacation. Collecting leaves for science holiday work. Coming back from summer vacation. Wearing blazers in winters. School farewell, girls dressing up in saree for the first time and their highlighted lips.
The day I left home for higher studies. The first day in an unkown city. Ramjas College. Delhi University. Lecture Theatres. Elections Campiagns. Kamla Nagar. Route 816. Blue Line. never buying tickets as we were "Staff". Placements. Placement Cell. Batch meetings.
The first dance. The first time our hands touched. The first time I heard my heartbeats.
First Salary. First gift for dad and mom. Their pride, my happiness...

There are so many moments...and there was a moment when I was born, I don’t remember that. And there will be a moment when I will die...and I will not remember that... the moment which will actually take my breath away. Life is all about moments that take our breath away. There must be life on the other side.
